not too sourJun 15, 2008

I picked up the taste for pickled onions when i lived in England. If they make you squint when placed in your mouth theyre just right. These were pretty close to perfect for me but I like the London Pub ones better. I also tried Judy's sour pickled onions but they were too sour for me.

I bought these pickled onions along with several other items popular in the UK. I love them. They are pickled in malt vinegar that one uses on fish and chips, which I greatly enjoy. I have used these onions "sparingly" in several applications, including on top of a pizza! They are strongly flavored so I chop them up - a little goes a long way. This is also great since they are expensive, but worth the price. Recommended!
Best Onions, by far - But brutally expensive.Dec 29, 2011

I give these five stars, because there is, really, no substitute when celebrating the Christmas Holidays. Crisp, tart and delicious, these pickled onions are always a staple on our table for Christmas and Boxing Day. My only complaint is that you really have to be in a "Price is no object" mindset when you order these, because the price is brutal. If you have to pay shipping also, it becomes even more scary. As always, I will continue to look for more reasonable suppliers for them.
THE BEST!Dec 08, 2011
By Ann W. Woodruff We adore these and have gone a long distance to buy them. Thank you, Amazon. Good choice and try them with French bread and English sharp cheese. What a treat.
